==Intro==
This book describes several magical creatures. Namely, the ones who are of basic intelligence and wouldn't be offended if called a "monster." Keep your eyes peeled.

==Nightmare==
A Nightmare is an accumulation of intense fear. It looks like a mass of sharp, black tentacles.

These creatures are very rare and tend to stay in low-populated regions. The best explanation is that they are born of intense hatred from small groups of people. A village curse or superstition could bear a Nightmare. So could intense greed and envy among miners. A Nightmare does not travel from its birthplace.

Nightmares feeds off of people's souls, through fear and anguish. When a victim is close enough, the Nightmare forces the victim to experience a terrible Nightmare and devours it. Anyone who is strong-willed may enter a benign dreamscape, where they may physically waste away. Some minds are simply too foreign for a Nightmare to handle, and will quickly break the dreamworld.

When cornered, the Nightmare will conjure images based on its attackers' fears. In reality, the Nightmare will use its tentacles to pierce. It can choose to pierce through physically or spiritually, and is smart enough to choose appropriately.
