Deep in the secret depths of the Hitashi Research Labs, a hideous and dangerous creation was nearing its completion. Too bad the secret was discovered and destroyed by Jupiter's Moons in their latest assignment to aid Tochiba against the 3v1l mega-corp Hitashi.

Project Dragon was a massive engineering feat to blend mecha and dinosaur into the ultimate fighting machine. (Which it obviously wasn't because it was owned by the bad guys and was destroyed by the PCs. Hitashi Engineers claim that its loss was due to its release before it was finished and before they were able to install control devices.) Its form was similar to that of a Tyrannosaurus, but it was much larger, weighing over 500 tons. Instead of arms, it had a pair of heavy lasers. On its back were a spread pair of skeletal wings which appeared large enough to give it flight had they been complete. Other obvious armament included automatic light lasers and missile launchers.

Project Dragon proved to be a walking disaster area after it was released by its moderately insane mad scientist head designer during the Moons' strike on the Hitashi Research Labs. It killed its designer, destroyed the research labs, and proceeded to attack the Hitashi forces sent to suppress it. During this skirmish it displayed its energy breath weapon which destroyed huge portions of the surrounding forces in a single attack.

Despite all of its power and armor, Jupiter's Moons finished off this beast thanks largely in part to Elara's Phase Canon. It still managed to completely trash the Orbit before finally falling.
