Deflect Arrows - If Stylus is aware of an arrow attack and has one free hand, he may freely deflect it.


Run - Stylus retains his Dex bonus to AC while running.


Blind-Fight - When Stylus misses due to concealment, he may reroll the percentile one more time to see if he actually hits. Invisible melee attacks do not get the +2 attack bonus against him, and Stylus keeps his Dex bonus to AC when attacked by them. Darkness and poor visibility reduces Stylus' speed to 3/4 normal (37.5, rounded to 35 feet.)


Tumble Bonus - Stylus gains a +3 AC bonus while fighting defensively, and +6 AC bonus while using a total defense action.


Slippers of Spider Climb - Stylus can move on vertical surfaces or even ceilings as long as his hands are free. His speed is 35 ft. Severely slippery surfaces render them useless. The slippers can be used for 10 minutes every day and can be split up however Stylus chooses.

Monk, Evasion - If Stylus makes a Reflex save for half damage, he takes no damage.

Monk, Purity of Body - Stylus is immune to all diseases except for supernatural and magical ones.

Monk, Slow Fall 20 ft - If Stylus falls within arms length of a wall, he takes damage as if the fall was 20 feet shorter than it actually was.

Ring of Fire Resistance, Minor - 10 Fire Resistance.

Ring of Water Elemental Command - -2 against fire-based effects.

Unarmed Strike
Hit: 9 = 5 (BAB) + 3 (Str) + 1 (Weapon Focus, Unarmed)
Damage: 1d8 + 4 (Str)
Crit: 20 x2 Type: Bludgeoning
Ki Strike (magic) - Stylus' unarmed strikes count as magical for the purposes of damage reduction.

Stunning Fist - Stylus must declare this before making an unarmed strike. If Stylus damages an opponent with his unarmed strike, his opponent must make a saving throw Fort DC 16 (10 + 1/2 Stylus' level + her Wis modifier.) Failure means the opponent is stunned for 1 round, just before Stylus' next round.

A stunned creature drops everything held, can't take actions, takes a -2 penalty to AC, and loses his Dex bonus to AC.

Stunning Fist attempts: Fort Save DC 16. 7 (Monk level + 1/4 other levels) times per day.

Flurry of Blows: 8/8 (unarmed strike)

Ring of Water Elemental Command:
Water Elementals cannot attack Stylus, or approach within 5 ft of him. Stylus may forego the protection and try to charm them (Charm Monster Will DC 17 negates.) If the charm attempt fails, the protection is lost and no attempts at charming can be made.

Creatures from the plane of water take a -1 penalty to attack rolls. Stylus gets a +2 resistance bonus to saving throws against their attacks. He gains a +4 morale bonus to attack rolls against them. Any weapons he uses bypasses damage reduction of them.

Stylus can converse with creatures from the plane of water. They recognize that he wears the ring. They show a healthy respect if alignments are similar. If they are opposed, they fear or hate him.

Stylus can cast the following spells from the ring (Caster Level 15th:) Water Walk (at will), Create Water (at will), Water Breathing (at will), Wall of ice (1/day), Ice Storm (2/week), Control Water (2/week)
