Chadius: TOA Summary 11/19/07

• Preparation for Hamlet X
  • Ceelie can design and decorate the set, and teleprompt too!
  • Li might be 2nd, except for stage fright
  • Tara's can do special effects
  • Diiman's obviously the hero, Lily's the villain
  • Lily builds the robots
  • Diiman choreographs the fight scenes
  • Emero and Ceelie act as 2nd in command
  • Add narrative backstory that explains what the pollution was

• Li looks for Blazing Fury
  • whoops wrong room! Jane Rane and Pane give Li a map
  • Li heads to Blazing Fury's training hall in the basement
  • Sparring and martial arts geek fest

• To the music hall, time to perform!
  • Blazing Fury performs
  • Sonarr plays "Trained by Love"

  • Diiman and crew give a great improv of Hamlet X
  • Planetary Defenders give a public service announcement

• Sonarr wins!
  • Sonarr and the Maestra head off
  • He gets a velvet package, gets The Maestra as a (temporary teacher)
  • Diiman offers a role in the movie
  • Lily gets all chummy
  • Convinces him Lily's a contact
  • Sonarr gets a robot, BS schematics, and gets Lily's number
  • It's a wooden finished fork!

Tara's Reports

Well, once we had gotten the script, we got right to work! There were a few things that needed changing, and then Lily complained a lot about some parts, but in the end we all agreed on a script and practiced a whole lot! Somewhere in the middle Li wandered off to go visit Blazing Fury. Anyways he got back in time and then we were all called to the stage! Unfortunately, only Diiman actually knows how to act. The rest of us tried very hard but were not very good. It was a little bit embarrassing but not as embarrassing as having to kiss someone! I did some special effects work that I hope was not too cheesy.

So, the other acts were mostly very good! Blazing Fury and his friends did a very neat demonstration of martial arts. They are all good people and I liked them a lot. There was a dancing type thing also with three people named Jane, Pane, and Rane, but I did not like them very much. Then Lily's friend (?) Sonarr did a really loud song which I guess was okay, but it was not my style. We also went, and then the Planetary Defenders gave a very inspirational speech on saving the planet!! I talked to them afterwards and they seemed very nice and really good people. Maybe we can get them to join TOA and really help protect the planet!

So the Maestra finally announced that Sonarr had won and he got the fork. We needed that!!! So Lily managed to trick him into thinking that he was supposed to give the fork to us in exchange for some gizmo. I felt bad about having to do this, but he was not a very nice guy and he works for even meaner people, so we were doing the right thing in making sure the fork ended up in the Right Hands. Also, Lily gave him her telephone number, which I think was probably a bad idea!

After all that we headed back to TOA to report. We have the four forks now and we have to go confront Tabula and the Sphericus. Whew, I am very tired and will sleep well tonight!
