Wishlist of Slightly Less DOOOOOOOM than Humanly Possible

Movies

  • Chronicles of Narnia
  • Gosford Park
  • Hero
  • The Hudsucker Proxy
  • Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle
  • The Phantom
  • Pirates of the Caribbean 2 & 3
  • Pleasantville
  • The Red Violin
  • Shaolin Soccer
  • this list could go on for several leagues...

TV

  • Heroes, Ssn. 2
  • Prison Break, Ssn. 3
(I just have this sad thing for pretty blue eyes. It's sick, really. And tats are suddenly growing on me. Mysterious.)
  • Criminal Minds Ssn. 3
  • Bones Ssn. 3
  • I'm sure there are more....

TV to BitTorrent

(Not yet released on DVD? If ever? May need to Bittorrent.)
  • Witchblade (2001-2002; 23 episodes + USAtvMovie?)
(No DVDs... but at there are talks of a movie in 2009, maybe someday. Couldbe.)
(Fox TV network is full of such bad, bad meanies. First they cancel a show I like (Standoff, John Doe, etc.) THEN they don't even release DVDs of them for the fans they're disappointing. It's just rude... and it's bad business.)

Books

Sure, it's possibly just Amazon's own shark-jumping, money-grubbing, gadget-geeks' wet-dream of an iPhone-ish type fantasy for bibliophiles like me, but it looks... GOOOOOOOOOD.
All save for OOTS2: No Cure for the Paladin Blues -- Thanks, Aurora!

Games

(Have PC, PS2, and Wii!)

  • Black & White II and expansions
  • Neverwinter Nights 2
  • Star Wars Legos 2
  • X-Men Legends 2
  • Marvel Ultimate Alliance
  • Justice League Heroes
  • Katamari Damacy
  • Eye Toy, and Eye Toy: Kinetic Combat

Music

(My tastes? Eclectic is the pretty word for it. Schitzophrenic is another.) (In retrospect, maybe I should just win the lottery, then ask for the winnings in the form of iTunes downloads.)

  • Royal Crown Revue (already got Mugzy's Move)
  • Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (have the self-titled)
  • Cherry Poppin Daddies (already have Zoot Suit Riot)
  • the list goes on and on and on....

Things

  • And while I'm already having Crate and Barrel multiple orgasm, this is most excellent, and if I had room, I would ask it to have my babies: Simone Daybed
The fabric on it makes you feel like you're laying on skinned teddy-bears. Luxurious, decadent, and delicious.
  • Rock tumbler and jewelers' chisels Rock tumbler grits and polishes; jewelers' anvil and lacquer
Necessary accoutrements to make mere stones into loveliness domesticated. (Need to find a local place that sells such things as these, or suck up the idea that I am paying the interwebs to ship rocks and dirt. Difficult.)
The only place I know in the world that makes Rodin replicas in the traditional way. I favor the Fallen Caryatid above all (naturally), but in its absence, I also love the Danaide, Eternal Idol, and Cathedral.
Update: My mummy is sending me a pair of Thinker (not Stinker) bookends she found at an estate sale. And, of course, I managed to lay hands on a set of Argonauth as well, so I've got some mighty cool things serving to keep books from falling down.
  • Sound system for the TV, such that things sound pretty as they are; and a central hub/switch for all the crap attached to said TV....
  • A decent scanner with which to steal the souls of whatever I can manhandle onto the plate glass.
  • Yeah, okay, so I might just possibly be that guy, but I kinda sorta like the iPhone. Yes, I'm a tool. I'll learn to live with it, by the power of tapscreen.
  • A Utilikilt Because Vorsaga is possessed of the coolest things, and teaches me to want to get into my neighbor's skirt, covetously.
  • ; tee - Back says: "The semicolon is not used enough; the comma is used too often." YES. (And now I am a card carrying member of the Semicolon Appreciation Society.)
  • A new xtra-small, sturdy Timbuk2 messenger bag because my beloved Target bag is growing holey in a way that has little to do with the divine, and more to do with things falling out of said bag onto the street and getting run over by SUVs.

WISHIN MISSIONS ACCOMPLISHT

Movies

  • Big Fish
  • Chicago
  • Spaceballs
  • Stardust
  • What Dreams May Come
  • Bride and Prejudice (Woot! Bollywood plus the Austenesque PLUS pretty saris and the arbitrary leaping about in song and dance? Is there any more perfect perfection under the stars?) Yeehah for Target impulse buys!
  • Mansfield Park woooo!

TV

  • Pretender
(Yes, it's all your fault. you know who you are.) Yay for Amazon wishlist sales!

TV to BitTorrent

Books

Games

  • Wii, and Wii-motes sufficient for two to tango, and Someday, WiiFit et al.
OHH OOH OOOHHH! A Haunted Christmas prezzie of MASSIVELY AWESOME proportions!!! Thank you, Utter Chaos!
  • Wintereenmas 2008 has taught me a secret and forbidden fantasy, for my fingers to do a new lambada of love with a stylus and a Sim, a mysteriously magical mathematics where <3 + :) = DS. Crimson & Black, Metallic Rose, Coral Pink, Gold ... all are so lovely, and they sing my name in their siren song! Can you hear it? CAN YOU??
(I have GOT to stop windows-shopping for DS games; the heart swells with avaricious lusts!) ((Update: Am decided, this is for me.))

Music

  • Ghost of the Robot(James Marsters), Mad Brilliant - Of course, it costs a MILLION dollars, but I would have orgasm-implosion just LISTENING to this album, if the quality is any better than the few live-recording mp3s I currently possess. They have a fantastic sound, entirely unique to them, but oddly familiar and comfortable as your favorite teddy bear.
Thank the GODS for the Russian knockoff of iTunes Store!!! Cost a gagillion rubles for the mp3s of this album, but that translated to $1.48 (with a heinous 4 cent international purchase surcharge)....

Things

Rykilde and I have succeeded in the procurement of a lovely bar/buffet in which to store our many wine, tea, and coffee accoutrements. At least, the picture on the box looks lovely, tho I've not yet made room sufficient to assemble it in manly fashion using only my wang and some duct tape. Or maybe I'll follow the directions and resist the urge to drill things.
Thank you, Vorsaga!
  • A nice, basic china set for espresso. I have 4 demitasse spoons already. (Don't ask.) Huzzah for Bloodbath & Beyond!
  • A modest, tiny printer that plays nicely with Jabba The Laptop. Or maybe one of those kickass ones with a scanner built in. 'Cause the only thing better than photocopying bits of yourself, is scanning them, for more rapid delivery. Hip-hip-hurrah for Zahnnie and Chadius!
Cleverly ordered the wrong size when my bossy-boss glared at my workplace shoppery. Trembling impatiently for replacement to arrive.

Leanings toward Learnings

  • BCAE - Wines of Italy!! <3<3=Zahnnie
