This is my wishlist. I'm totally revamping it, as my time to play videogames has shrunk.

e-Reader
I am interested in one, but I don't know which one yet. My interest for this comes from having a dedicated PDF reader so I can read my Pathfinder and D&D source books without having to carry a million pounds of books. My netbook cannot handle the huge files, unfortunately (10 seconds to load a page? Yikes!) If you can find one that will display pictures it's a plus, but not required.
I also loathe locking myself to a single bookstore. If I could get away with just PDF reading, I would. Maybe. It would be a bit limiting to buy something that walks like an e-reader, talks like an e-reader, but isn't an e-reader. I don't buy many books though, so maybe I'm blowing this "chained to a bookstore" thing too seriously.
I'm also on the fence on whether I want color or not. If I do want color that pretty much leaves the Nook Color. *Shrug*
Anyway, since I'm not gonna buy myself an e-reader yet, feel free to give me one.
More gaming artbooks!
I have plenty of Street Fighter and Mega Man artbooks. I don't know if Capcom has translated the Breath of Fire artbook yet. If they have, DEFINITELY grab it. If not, hmm. Are there any other game companies that have published artbooks in English that I would care about? I'm sure Square Enix has, but it's mostly for Final Fantasy games past "episode 8: I'm It's Only Fan" which I don't care about...Kingdom Hearts?
Character Design Books
So, I want to make games. I'm sure you've noticed that. Character design will be very useful to me. Any books you can find on making game/anime/live action characters who are unique and interesting are of interest to me.
Sound effects design Books
I'm pretty sure I know how to compose some music if I try really hard. I even have a little USB piano keyboard. But sound effects? Yikes. I was flipping through a Computer Music magazine that tried to give an "introduction" and it whizzed right past me. So, if you know of a good launching point, pass it along as a gift!
Game Development Publications
Right now I subscribe to Game Developer. I'm not going to renew it, as it's a bit over my head. It really aims for console game developers and not the 1-person hobbyist that I am. Are there any journals that are closer to Indie/Small team level out there? Find out and make me a happy subscriber.
Games
Feel free to grab games for me, but do realize I have an impressive backlog.
