Russell Orchards Cyser
- 1 gallon Russell Orchards Cider
- 3.5 lbs Russell Orchards Honey
- Yeast Energizer
- Yeast Nutrient
- Red Star Cuvee Yeast
Brought the cider to a boil and reduced a bit. Added honey and dissolved. Activated yeast in 100F water for 20 minutes. Added energizer and nutrient to must. Pitched at 85F. -Morrigu 8 October 2014
IG: 1.162 @ 84F = 1.165 @ 60F
Racked. A bit of sour apple flavor, and some honey coming through. Definitely more time to go, but I think I fixed the issue with the last batch. Still dark and cloudy. Has lots of potential. -Morrigu 14 December 2014
