Overview

This is a parody of Superhero stuff. Expect jokes, nonseriousness, and tongue-and-cheek up the wazoo.

The Super Justice Squad is dedicated to truth, justice, and um...the way of stuff. From their awesome mansion in That City, the SJS tries to save the world and all that. 'Course, all the stuff they do inbetween their adventures is what's REALLY important.

Any references to other comics is purely coincidental. Clearly you're hallucinating.

Dasoup

Dasoup is an idiot. Some are jealous of his powers. He doesn't think up the best plans, and his strategies involve punching things in the face until they fall down.

But he's also the leader of the SJS. Oh, and he's invulnerable, can fly, use heat breath, or freeze people in place with just a look. The public loves him. The low-ranking members use him as a role model. And even Victory likes him...

Kent Peterson works as a mild-mannered reporter. His big claim to fame is how he always knows what DaSoup does. The Chief thinks Kent's a genius.

How Dasoup feels about the rest of the party

Victory - Nice guy. He always knows what's right! Why does everyone else hate him so much? I didn't really hear his plan let's CHARGE!

Ms Wand - Nice lady, especially with the drawings she makes in her book. Oh, a crayon, I'll finish drawing what she-awww, she's stomping off now.

Aquavius - Let's go on a trip! I can't play pirates with her, I break half her stuff or I lift the boat out of the water, she hates that.

Beatmasta - DANCE TIME! Lemme mix some music-awww, I broke the turntable. I'll ask Victory to buy another one.

The Slash - I don't get him...He doesn't talk to me much, says I have nothing important to say. That makes me sad-oooh look a penny!

Victory

Being a normal human has never felt so good. Superior to all humans, Victory has the money, the gadgets, and the catchphrase "I AM VICTORY!" So he wins no matter what. Yeah! He is also a master of kungfu, swordmasterage, espionage and detectiveness. So he's like god++. And no one ever looks up.

Vance Michaels was son to Michaels Pharmaceuticals. His parents were assaulted by a punk with a gun and kicked the gunman's ass. Vance thought that was awesome, and worked hard to become an all-time all-around asskicker. His parents are in a retirement home and he's the lazy, rich president who smuggles money off for "Expensive Toasters" like the Justice Mansion.

Victory spends his time thinking up brilliant plans that wind up ignored. He spends the rest of his time rescuing the other heroes from the traps they fall into. Oh, and disproving "magic" for Ms Wand.

Justice Squad Analysis

Dasoup - Most of the time, he listens to me without complaint. At least someone understands me...except when it's time to plan.

MsWand - She's as reclusive and almost as smart as I am. This makes her a bitter rival and an excellent intellect sparring partner.

Aquavius - A decent sparring partner, and a decent racer. Also, her fish-summoning powers make fishing easy. Not that I would need it.

Beatmasta - Why can't Beatmasta shutup during a stakeout? And how does spontaneous dance solve ANYTHING?

The Slash - He keeps more secrets than I do. Punk.

Ms Wand

Ms Wand is a magic-using elf. Maybe she's the last one. Yes bigger ears are better. Yes that hair is natural. No, I don't live in a forest, hugging trees all day long. Stop stereotyping, silly humans. Ms Wand stopped telling people her true name when no one could pronouce it correctly.

Ms Wand has a magic tower in a pocket dimension she spends most of her time in. Only The Slash seems to convince her to get out and socialize every once in a while. Oh, and Victory's complete disbelief in magic.

Party Evaluation

Dasoup - If he draws in my spellbook one more time-ARGH!

Victory - Think's he's soooo smart. I should lecture him on the uses of the Black Lotus in the Chimera Summoning Rituals. Again. That'll deflate his superiority complex.

Aquavius - Seriously, fish summoning? She could have had so much more power from that gem (wish I saw it) and she picked...fish summoning.

Beatmasta - The only person who understands my music. And can adapt to elven dance rather quickly.

The Slash - Cute butt. I mean, uh...really cute butt. Not smart, but at least he tries to listen to me.

Aquavius

Aquavius was a slick-tongued pirate who found a mystical gem, granting her powers of the sea. She can control water, breathe indefinitely in any medium, and is a great swimmer. She can also call upon the fish of the sea, something the gang mocks her for (why? Fish control is AWESOME!)

Aquavius is often described as a cross between Zorro, Aquaman and Indiana Jones. She has no idea who those people are.

Aquavius, as drawn by Kit. Awesome.

<br=clear>

The Crew

Dasoup - He would have made an OK bruiser if he cared about gold.

Victory - Nice guy. Wish he'd stop acting so superior and all. He's clearly hiding something.

Ms Wand - All that magic and she can't turn lead to gold. What kinda witch is she? And she mocks ME for my powers over the sea.

Beatmasta - B-man here knows more sea chants than I do. But the government holds fast. Would make a fine entertainer for the ship.

The Slash - He can adapt to any plan, pull out his weapons from any scenario, and knows when it's going to get bad. He'd make a fine pirate.

Beatmasta

Beatmasta knows the power of music. Always busting a ryhme, or practicing a waltz, or beating the drums around. The life of any party, Beatmasta easily adjusts to any social situation. A true party animal. Has trouble keeping quiet, which sucks when during stakeouts. Or waiting for an ambush.

Beatmasta comes from A.C.R.O.N.Y.M., a governmental crime-fighting agency. A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. sometimes asks to fulfill duties for them (like birthday parties, Disc Jockey at weddings.) With all the files hidden to outside agents, no one's really sure why there's a man and woman both claiming to be the same person. Shapeshifter? Government role, like the Secret Service? Eye of the Beholder? No freakin' clue.

Beatmasta's Party Posse

Dasoup - A true party animal. He smashes my stuff though. I'll have to order more goods from A.C.R.O.N.Y.M.

Victory - Always wearing a mask. Even when he knows the dance steps (he knows them well) he doesn't have the jive to go with it. That brutha's missing soul.

MsWand - These elven dances are smooooth. I bet I could do her one better. Might make her angry though. And when she's not happy, ain't no one's happy.

Aquavius - Still working on her dance steps. Never know when you need to charm the governor's kid to escape from prison. Need to bone up on my sea chanties.

The Slash - Stone cold. Never wants to dance, says it's silly.

The Slash

The Slash can grow blades from his arms and hands, with a distinctive SPIKT noise. He can use it to cut things, glide, or climb up surfaces. He is also able to regenerate wounds at an incredible rate. No hero has ever had these powers together!

The Slash is very pragmatic. He manages to keep his cool and stick to the plan. He is also reserved, able to sit back and absorb the situation before charging in. He is also able to improvise when fit hits shan and the plan fails.

Some people think The Slash is very old, since his regeneration can counter the effects of aging. This would be the first time regeneration was ever used in such a manner. The Slash doesn't remember anything before he joined the Justice Squadron, although he sometimes rambles on about ancient creatures he might have met and -wait, what was I talking about? I'm sure things will be revealed in a profitable comic book series in due time.

Who are these guys, anyway?

Dasoup - Every hit Dasoup takes is one I don't have to. Which is good 'cause those HURT. Idiot with a heart of gold, that one.

Victory - He needs to know every single little detail about me. Then when I ask him about his life, he shuts up. Hypocrite.

Aquavius - I don't get it: What does she like about fish? Now, if we're talking about the Leviathan, then yeah, he's pretty good. Wait, what?

Ms Wand - Have they STILL not figured it out yet? Where'd she go - ugh, back to her tower. I'd better go get her.

Beatmasta - Still wants me to dance for some reason. I don't dance. Well, maybe for Ms Wand. Maybe.

NPCs

Here are the many NPCs who have bumped into the SJS at one point or another.

Carmen Odys

Odys is the President and CEO of Odyx, one of the largest manufacturers and developers of, well everything. She is one of the richest women in the world, and rumors say she is DaSoup's nemesis. Rumors also say her factories manufacture some kind of "silver bullet" for DaSoup. Of course she gets out of jail in less than a day after donating money to the courts (some claim it's bail.)

Drazzle Mah Nazzle

Drazzle may be a Dark Elf. If so, he would be the only male elf in existence right now. Too bad he is possibly the best assassin in the world. With twin purple scimitars. When he's not hunting his targets, he hits on Ms. Wand. A lot. With poorly written love letters and a foreign dialect.

Scholas

Scholas is a monk. Sometimes that means he is a kickass melee fighter. Sometimes that means is a religious philosopher. Sometimes that means he's a bookworm.

Money Maiden

Money Maiden was an expert jewel and art thief in Gothic City. She managed to get what she wanted while avoiding law enforcement, even gave Victory the slip. After some intense interrogation with Victory, Money Maiden has reformed. Or at least she fights crime while Victory's busy.

Any rumors that claim she and Victory are together are largely unproven. I mean unfounded.

The Juggerguy

The Juggerguy is a heavily armored warrior. He claims to be the brother of one of the SJS's founding members and wants revenge. Worse yet, his armor is virtually indestructible. He and DaSoup played Brawlin' Bots for hours and neither flinched.

Pageant of Doom

DOOMopolis! has reinstated the 10,000 year pageant of the gods! Whoever wins this will receive the Key of the Universe, which is probably really powerful. The Daddy asks for SJS's help to win the pageant. While helping out, the group meets Laztress, a member of Fluffy Cloud.

One of DOOMopolis's elite guard handed Victory a book. It had several newspaper clippings of Victory on it. He obviously wanted an autograph.

During DaSoup's presentation, several DOOMopolis agents and some kind of death machine assaulted the group. When they destroyed it, it released The Subordinate, one of DOOMopolis's lackeys. Thus DOOMopolis was disqualified and DaSoup won on behalf of Fluffy Cloud.

As thanks, The Daddy offered anything within his power. DaSoup asked for Laztress to join the SJS.

Recruitment Drive

SuperJusticeSquad: The Movie!

Well, it's time for another SJS movie. And what could be better than having the real heroes act out their parts? Maybe a few villains will pop up and provide some special effects! Oh, we'll save so much on budget! YES!

Summary

Movie Review

RPG System

I'm going to use BESM 3rd Edition. It's similar to Tri-Stat dX but it's a bit cleaner and tweaked. Also, everything is done with two six-sided dice. Everyone has a maximum of 350 Character Points.

The Vacation

The founding members of the SJS are getting tired of organizing heroic deeds. Maybe it's time for a vacation. Or maybe they just want to go out to a restaurant without interruption. Just once.

RPG system

I'm using the Tri-Stat dX system, with d8s as the base. If you wanna read the rules, here's the link to the pdf. But you won't need it much.

The PCs are around 100 character points, in the Modern Day Superhero skill set.
