Chris: No, still only +4 BAB. Fi only just hit +5 BAB. Gah. Her touch AC just tanked... And now she needs new barding. And a saddle... George: Fleir just got large? Chris: yes Hernz: touch AC gone, but more HP and way more damage... who needs touch AC? ;) Hernz Pummels Fleir Hernz: Att: 26 || 24 || 19 Damage (P): 6 || 5 || 7 Crit Confirm: 19 || 10 || 18 Crit Dmg (P): +4 || +6 || +6 Special 1: Total all damage before applying DR. Special 2: Target sicken on crit for 1 round. No Save. Special 3: If hit by first hit, Fort DC 19 or stun for 1 round Special 4: Attacks treated as Magic. I was testing something out... ignore that... wanted to try and whisper that... clearly failed Cat: lol. well, i don't have access to cat's grace so. SORRY. (From Vegeta): Chad, veg sheet is all updated save that one feat... I'm qinggong ability, though I'm leaving towards snatch arrow Chris: Fi: 31HP; Fleir: 63HP Cat: haha. Hernz: Do the rest of us all have the same? I know at least 3 of us do. Veg at 45 Cat: nidri at 45. ...apparently i'm just not good at divine casters. all these spells just seem useless heh. Hernz: lol, what you got left to pick? lvl 2, 3? Cat: yeah one each Hernz: cleric list? Cat: this was what i came up with on the first read through: 2nd list spells - shock arrow, instant armor, inflict moderate wounds, make whole 3rd list spells - create food and water, find fault, shield of darkness i wanted the dex buff, but it's not on my list. yeah, cleric list mostly, there are a few cleric-only. Cat: spiritual weapon is useless without a house rule to let oracle use cha. Hernz: Badger's Ferocity? Makes a bunch of weapons keen while you concentrate? not sure how that concentration works... cna you cast other stuff while you concentrate? Cat: does it work on ranged weapons and monks? a lot of the 'weapon' stuff is sort of wasted on this party heh. Hernz: all weapons I think let me check yup, all weapons... won't stack with Keen Weapon if we ever get that property in our weaps, but until then... you can do 1 weap/3 levels Cat: doesn't say it works for monks. Hernz: BUT, concentration = can't cast anything else.... that might suck Cat: yeah the shock arrow one kinda sucks, but i may grab it just to have some sort of reasonable ranged attack. Hernz: Blessing of the Mole gives the entire party darkvision Remove curse/disease... Bestow Curse... nasty spell... remember when we had it cast on us?? Cat: eh, remove curse/disease seems very specific for a spontaneous caster. that's really my issue. we'll never see another disease again heh. Hernz: hahahaha Cat: the cleric is is, unsurprisingly, geared towards clerics. it's kind of shit for oracles. i'm not a fan of "save and it does absolutely nothing" that may be why i edited a bunch of these out. i'm kinda liking the 'shield of darkness' idea...make it harder to pick off the healer, and the total concealment would mean no AOOs. Hernz: if they're will saves, they'll cripple fighters, and fort saves will cripple the rest let me read that one Cat: it's a neat intersection of possibly useful and cool thing character wise. Hernz: yup, like invisibility... but evil invisibility Cat: it's not evil. it's just...dark ;) Chris: Can Fi custom order large mithral chain barding for 1400GP? Hernz: Searing Light (no save)? Summon 3? Cat: not ready to commit to another summon yet. Hernz: but you're right... nothing too great for you Cat: yeah, they're not terrible. just nothing that's like "YES, THAT" honestly the 2s are worse than the 3s i think. i considered "silent table" given all the weird shit we discuss these days ;) too small and too short duration though. er, also cleric only, not oracle. THANKS. Hernz: does oracle get to dump them on the fly for heals? Cat: i get all cure spells. so basically, yes. Chris: And I get all summon nature's ally. :-P Cat: see, if i have the darkness thing, i'm more likely to be able to get in someone's face for a touch attach. Chris: hehehe... Call lightning. Cat: lol. haha giant fleir is awesome. oh god skills. that's what i forgot. Hernz: max out swim Cat: :P Chris: Pup Shape?!?! SRSLY? Cat: wat. mm i could dump a point in k local ;) i have like 2 skill points kicking around. and no, i'm not putting them in swim. ;) Hernz: k arcana or planes? to identify all the random shit we encounter? Cat: yea i have arcana at 6 and planes at 8 i could boost either or i'm just thinking one point in a different knowledge actually lets me roll the check. mostly thinking local/nature/geography for that. realtime 4/8 8:26 am (GM) Chad S. (GM): 70% chance for custom barding in Harvest Wharf: 38 There is a salesman who sells a Large Mithral Barding for Fleir. George: One more third and another 1st level spell learned, and I have to pick a feat. Channel the Gift sounds interesting. Basically hand a third or lower level casting to another caster. Or Confusion. Hernz: wow, confusion is a 15ft burst?? nice! that's a pretty good way to neutralize a bunch of fighters realtime 4/9, 9:38 pm Fleir experiences a sudden growth spurt as she returned to Harvest Wharf. Hernz: I think I was convinced today to take Cloak of Winds (GM) Chad S. (GM): Hmm, looks pretty cool. Hernz: it's my "anti swarm of tiny things that chad might throw at us" spell uses 2 ki... unless I see a shit ton of archers, I might not power that up lol (GM) Chad S. (GM): lol (From Hernz): hey chad, ok, I'm a little confused at how qiggong abilities work as far as selection... Can I give up an ability in order to be able to select an ability at a later level? For example, if I give up Wholeness of Body (level 7), for Dragon Breath (level 8)... so I hit level 7, gain nothing, but then at 8 I get the ability? I'm asking because I see abilities at level 8 and 10, but no ability to swap until level 11... so why would they differentiate those levels? (From Hernz): http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/monk/archetypes/paizo---monk-archetypes/qinggong-monk (From Hernz): if that's the case, I'd likely not pick the cloak of winds and instead go for something else. (From George): Looking at feats, can I take "Master Performer"? It's got a weird prereq that's based on some particular setting, but grants a +1 to any bonuses from bard song. (From George): Alternately, would Discordant Voice grants +1d6 sonic damage to any allies within 30' of me when they make a successful "weapon attack". Would that also apply to Fleir and Veg? (From George): When I'm performing as an SU or EX (All of the inspire songs count as SU) George: And now Hawk has Expeditious Retreat. I think I'm just waiting on Chad to let me know which feat I'm allowed to take. :) Cat: ok, i think nidri is officially done leveling up. realtime 4/10, 8:55 pm (To George): Where is the Master Performer feat? I only see Master Combat Performer (To George): You can't take Discordant Voice yet, you don't have 10 ranks in Perform (To George): Manny has been eyeing Discordant Voice for a while. Maybe level 13 after Spellsong? (To George): DIscordant Voice would help Vegeta but not Fleir. It looks like they are referring to manufactured weapons, not Natural weapons, and Vegeta counts as both. Cat: so we were gonna go talk to dakan, right? :) (To Hernz): I think you give up Wholeness of body now and get your level 8 power at level 8. Alexen Dakan and his son Marksen are at the Dakan manor, enjoying lunch after sparring in the morning. Cat: i mean, we told shavanni we would. Alexen Dakan: Hmm? Ah, yes. Come in, come in! The cooks made some beef stew if you would enjoy some late lunch. Nidranisan: Sounds lovely. (From George): Damn, I missed the 10 ranks requirement on DV. (From George): Master Performer apparently is only in the feats database, and doesn't have a regular page on the srd. (From George): Prereqs are listed as "Bardic performance class feature, Extra Performance, Kitharodian Academy 15 TPA." (From George): But apparently I don't have extra performance, which I thought I did... (From George): So I guess that's what I'll pick up this time. (To George): Yaay! Requirements! (From George): I thought I'd picked up extra performance, but it was the trait, not the feat, that I was remembering. (From George): Damn you gadget!
