Chadius: TOA Summary 9/16/08

• Viveka puts stuff together with Diiman's duct tape
  • Viveka presents her gift "The Albert" to him
  • The Mechanic invites her over whenever

• Lily and Lucy have a talk
  • Lucy's a robot. Joined TOA about 15 years ago.
  • She is the result of some subroutines able to escape shutting down.

• Lily's parents tried to reproduce several times
  • They made a few robots with AI routines
  • Biological worked out, but Lily received augmentations (nanites?)
  • Her Father had plans to resurrect Mother by bringing someone similar (like Others) but Mother objected
  • MJ's subroutines could be used to restore her although their prime directive is to protect Lily, not restore Joule.

• Lucy was hit by a virus upon reading a sheet of paper Lily showed her
  • The "Let's play a game. Don't wake daddy" paper.

• Repairs on the faceplate. Should be done in a day or so.
  • The Mechanic gives them his number.

• They leave The Mechanic's home
  • Jump in the Black Tiger and heads to TOA
  • Dragon makes some noise, Diiman thinks it's the guard.
  • Viveka scratches the mirrors and Dragon purrs the engine

• Lily checks out Lucy's room
  • Small nondescript room next to a Janitor's Closet
  • Gets a disc with Lucy's algorithms
  • Viveka is going to scratch cars and see if they purr.

• Meeting with Zii
  • Hmm, MJ's current status explains a lot about her
  • Losing Lucy in exchange makes decisions blurry. That and they'd need to invade MISTIC
  • Zii puts the team on standby; he's received anonymous tips MISTIC is on the move
