Where to begin? Amai is without a doubt one of my favorite characters of all time (next to Pippawitten Nobbwin, everyone's favorite butt-gnome), and I played her for approximately 4 1/2 years before both my plot writers left game, causing me to switch over to playing Elle.

Amai's backstory and reasons for coming to the settlement are unremarkable... the most important point of the matter is the she arrived. Her legendary status stems from her grand love affair with the bottle and her penchant for hijinks and antics. Under the tutelage of Boris Kissov, Rat Catcher Extraordinare, she rose to the rank of a Master Drunken Fighter, and defended the honor of the art on a regular basis from vagrant Okian fighters of assorted other fighting schools.

Beyond the usual drunken debauchery, Amai pretty much had her hands in a little bit of everything, both literally and figuratively. From her lowly beginnings as a Delta Squad cantrip-pincher/assassin for the New Galen independent militia, to her stint as Jack's very own apprentice up through the Alliance meltdown and Thieves' Guild war in 2002, Amai's opportunistic personality and unfettered aversion towards dignity led her through periods of unbridled success, one sphere of influence at a time.

Amongst her other notable jobs, Amai became Death's handmaiden and personal masseuse (after getting right sick of dying unbenedicted for the sixth time thanks to her cheapwad bastard so-called "friends," she offered a rather cranky D a massage, instantly calming the beast and putting him in a much more agreeable mood), arguably earning the scorn of her other Ebon Order peers and the N'veen alike for claiming the right to refer to Darteem as "The Big D" during the glory days of Death's reign over the settlement. Shortly after the advent of the Fraternity of Hennom in the Spring of 2004, Amai's position as Darteem's handmaiden became somewhat marginalized and she acquired the additional office of "Bearer of the Key to the Privy of Hennom."

About 3 years into her stay in the settlement, a rift opened causing the merging of an alternate timeline Amai with one in the present timeline, and she soon found herself distinctly attracted to her then-new business partner of half a year, Mistress Zoe Macaya. With the newly added bent of lesbo-centric antics, Zoe and Amai's Dom Parlor took off with raging success, drawing customers into the Dark Tavern for both drinks and playtime with their box of toys alike. DT management saw the success of their fledgling business and hired the ladies to man the bar both Friday and Saturday night for a year and a half, leading to massive improvements of the venue thanks to that certain feminine touch, and the patronage of one very powerful lesser spirit. Unfortunately, a turnover in Dark Tavern management put local incompetent Carrion Knightcruller in charge, leading to the poor business maneuver of firing Zoe and Amai in favor of Aknorian girl-of-the-moment Sasha who left the business a moon later. Exceedingly snubbed by this outright shoddy mismanagement of their brainchild, Amai left the settlement for a year to pursue a career as an illicit liquor-runner along the New Galen coast, taking advantage of the Al Hadim trading embargo to boost business sales enough to purchase herself a faithful horse named Shumai and a cargo-cart upon which she painted the Okian flag (it is rumored that there exists an artist's rendering of Amai and Shumai jumping the aforementioned cart over a large gulch in order to escape pursuit from the captain of some local authorities by the name of Boar).

Upon returning to the settlement, Amai linked up with her Wolf Pack Mercenary bosom-buddies Zoe and Cerridwynn Penndragonn and took over the Light Tavern service management where their most recent project, Taters - a dining venue staffed by beautiful blondes - can be enjoyed by the local clientele. Dark Tavern management should have realized... the party follows the merc girls!

Of Amai's numerous achievements during her stay in New Galen, she is perhaps best known for Wrestling on the Majestic Bar with Nicola for the Silver King's amusement, the "Florist" incident with Night Alyss, Undead Table-Dancing, the Drunken Matrix Spellshield exchange (also known as Saving Wolfgar's Privates), Minotaur Tipping, Minotaur Tipping Part II, Pooping in the Pillar of Light, pioneering the Dark Tavern Severance Package, the Uncle Damer Till Wars, and most importantly, the Codpiece of the Gold Court.
