Brain Dump: Ceelie

So we were hanging out at that club and I was sharing all of Tara's fruity drinks, and the most hilarious thing happened. A tree fell in Li's monastery. I kinda wish he'd noticed, but not noticed, 'cause if he hadn't noticed, but I heard it, we could've answered that age old question forever. But, alas, no luck. So this big tree falls and there's a tornado. That's a little weird, isn't it? Li went to check it out. He's such a strong flier. I really wish I could learn to fly like him. Maybe some day. He even managed to do all that awesome maneuvering while he was carrying his Master. It was impressive. The wind was swirling everywhere and trees and leaves and branches were flying all around, and to be honest, it made me a little dizzy.

When he got up into the whirlwind, he could see a bunch of weird black creatures flying around like the wind couldn't even touch them. I guess they must've had some kind of magic, because they were not as good at flying as Li is. Cheaters. At the bottom of the whirlwind was a lady! Okay, that's odd! When Li picked her up to take her back to the monastery, suddenly everything calmed down again -- the winds died down and the creatures vanished. I have a feeling I know whose fault that whole thing was. Mmhmmm.

So Li dropped her off at their apothecary. She woke up a little, but didn't feel good, so that was probably the right place for her. Then he went back to teaching his little monks about concentration. That's way more boring, so I got distracted again telling Tara about the tornado and laughing and dancing on people. I thought it would be good to say hi to Li too, since he was missing out on the party. I think I might've maybe been just a little loud though. Oops. Then we went home and I got extra bored while everyone slept. You'd think if I watched Li long enough, I'd learn something about all that monk stuff, but it just never really sinks in.

Finally, I got too lonely and started making breakfast and woke everyone up. 'Cause breakfast is delicious. Apparently something weird was going on with all the computers though. They seemed to be talking. And it sounded an awful lot like D-man's voice. Boy, Lily can be a mean little sneak sometimes. Poor D had no idea. I guess the cute, adorable and confused look is part of his charm with his fans sometimes. If anyone left him a voicemail that night or that morning, I'd suggest you just wait a few days and try again. He probably never got it. Anyway, while Sly was trying to deal with that ongoing crisis, we headed off to his filming!

Apparently, it was time for the big climax of the movie, with Alexis Edor, where she creates this cure, and has to hand it off to D-man and he has to go deploy it at some strategic location, probably fighting some climactic fight on the way, and it does this weird biological explosion and cures all the spider dudes. It's funny, she's totally deadpan in real life, yet she's this really respected actress. Her first few takes were crap though, really. D's out the hamming it up and she can't get the lines. But after a few tries, she did a good take and D had some really great action in it too. But the the spider dude costumes got a little less costumey, and the prosthetics started looking a little less, well, prosthetic...

Yeah, so, apparently, this happens pretty regularly in Hollywood. Too much hype over a new movie, and weird stuff starts happening on the set. I never really thought about it before, or it probably would have been obvious. So, there we were, hanging around the movie set with a bunch of real, live spider dudes. And the two heros of the movie. And the fancy prop that was supposed to be the cure. And the scene, fresh in our minds, of how exactly the cure needed to be deployed to fix all the spider dudes. Get it yet, D?

So Alexis hands of the cure to D, we all hop in the Black Tiger, start speeding up towards the Hollywood sign, get stuck fighting this super-dramatic fight with a huge spider man on the way, and D deploys this cure, which -- you guessed it! -- does this weird biological explosion and, sure enough, cures all the spider dudes. While we were driving across LA, there were spider dudes popping up all over the place. Lily and Tara locked down the house, and Tara figured out the part about the Hollywood sign being where we had to go. D got webbed once or twice by the big spider guy, and Alexis was totally useful at throwing grenades and stuff. It was pretty awesome. And of course, everyone else thinks it was a great stunt to hype the movie even more.

Show biz sure can get rough sometimes! Somehow, I don't think the movie's going to be that scary when it comes out.
