Klynne is a Spell Siphon mentor. She's a fiery red Pevishan with a myriad of different moods and tempers, and an incredible flare for magic. She is an accomplished sorceress and one of the top Spell Siphon teachers generally known. Students travel far to seek her out and are often rejected. Most of those who enter her training do not complete it. Those who do invariably continue on to great adventures and accomplishments.

Ellowyn studied with her for some time, and enjoyed a particularly intense relationship with her -- more so than any other student she has trained.

Class Abilities

Spell Siphon
  • Second Familiar: summon a second familiar. This was after she gained the Improved Familiar feat, so she was able to summon a more powerful familiar for her second.
  • Improved Connection: DC for target to resist evoc spells gets additional +1.
  • Arcane Eye: detect evocation magic at will.
  • Masterful Connection: DC for target to resist evoc spells gets additional +2.
  • Spell Absorption: absorb evoc spells as a readied action by making a spellcraft check (DC 15 + spell level).
Argent Savant
  • Force Specialization: +2 competence bonus on attack rolls made with force spells. +1 bonus to each die of damage by force spells (if not based on dice, just +1 damage overall).
  • Force Armor: AC bonus of protective spells increased by 2 for force spells.
  • Extended force: duration of force spells is doubled (similar to Extend Spell feat, but with no level/casting time change). DC required to counter or dispel force spells is increased by 4.
  • Ablate Force: subtract class level from total damage taken from any force spell.
  • Unbind force: unweave a force spell effect. As a standard action, dispel a single force spell or effect within 60 feet (even those normally immune to dispel magic). Caster level check (DC 11 + opposing caster level) to succeed. Deals 1d6 points of force damage per level of the dispelled spell to all creatures and objects within 10 feet of the unbound spell.

This was the familiar Klynne first summoned when she found her casting abilities. He came from a marsh near her home town, and has been with her for decades.

Tiny Viper. Grants +3 bluff skill.

Ahlil

This is the familiar Klynne summoned after becoming a Spell Siphon. She came from the forest near Corrolith.

Pseudodragon. Has telepathic ability within 60 ft, and poison sting.
