Querca's sacred forest covers an area about 15 miles wide by 10 miles high, give or take. Most of the area is dense forest, but the northeast section is a warm swampy area that is home to a number of black dragon families.

Recently, Pazuzu and his demonic and draconic minions invaded the grove, poisoning and searing huge areas of the grove with acid and curses. Several black dragons were captured, and others fled. The party managed to free the dragons by recapturing the black orb, but Pazuzu and the green orb escaped.
