Most Wanted

This is the list of my current most-coveted additions to the above collection. You may generally notice a pattern of style and instrumentation. My dad would also have good suggestions.

• Beethoven - piano sonatas
• Mozart - string quartets (whatever I don't already have)
• Tchaikovsky - symphonies
• Wagner - The Ring Cycle (all four full operas. I have a recording picked out on my amazon list...but these are expensive...)
• piano trios - particularly Mendelssohn and Beethoven. I'm greatly enjoying the few I bought on iTunes by the Florestan Trio.

I have some preferred artists. Reading the list of what I have, above, will give some idea. In general I have a soft spot for:

• Joshua Bell (violin)
• Vladimir Ashkenazy (piano)
• Emanuel Ax (piano)

Hard to go wrong with those folks.
