+ | So then we came up to the last room on the niffty little map we found, and it had the super-extra-big skull in it, and I was a little afraid. But I was also excited about seeing what kind of contraption Irode really was! We all ran into the room together, and there it was -- a big tower with a metal ball on top of it. There were more of the big four-armed war machines with the funny red buttons on their heads, and more of those little mechanincal spider guys. I think I really don't like spiders very much. He went over to one and just dead-lifted its hands off its head. He's amazing! D and E were taking shots at the spider guys, but once Li got the war machine's head uncovered, they took it down. While they were handling all the gun stuff, I saw another one of the blue shiny globe contraptions in a little pyramid way on the other side of the room, so I took off that way. When I finally got there I took a shot with my awesome energy bow and DING! Solid hit! It did this merry-go-round thing and spun Irode right off his big stupid high perch and towards one of the holes. Li got there in time to shove it into the hole, and everyone attacked! It's really neat 'cause it's a little pile of metal balls but when you pick it up it looks like a fork all the sudden, like one of those magnetic demonstrations at a museum, and then D holds it up and it wiggles back and forth and I go flying around hanging on to the middle tine and it's really super cute!

So of course there are warnings and sirens telling us to leave too, and we rode the lift up and ran back to where Terillis and Min were waiting. Terillis had found some information in the temple, looking around the top floor where we came in, but she couldn't really figure out what it meant. They wanted us to come in and talk to them and everything, so we did. We met Madame Endris, who was very elegant. They wanted to hear all sortts of stories, which of course D is great at, so he did most of the talking. He told them about all the forks and the whole story, with the colisseum and the nightmare and all that. You know how he is about storytelling, he always gets involved and makes it a big performance, and everyone loved it. Then they asked him about "stuff" and luckily we'd warned D that merms love bling, so he had a ton of shiny stuff. They were so impressed. In fact, Madame Endris even gave D her number. Women do that all the time though, so that doesn't really mean much, does it? Terillis just stood in the corner pretty much the whole time trying not to be interested in anything. After all the stories and the presents and everything, we packed up and left. It must be nice having everyone just know you want presents and sort of accept it. People don't just give me presents all the time, even though I like presents! Doesn't everyone like shiny things? I'm lucky D likes me, he gets me shiny presents sometimes.

I guess we're probably headed up to Russia next anyway, but we will definately need to look into that more. We only have four locations, and with everything that happens, I'm really starting to believe something awful will happen if we don't do this just right. All these prophecies are always about some kind of horrible doom. I try to be brave and do the right thing, but it's scary to think about what happens if we get something wrong. I will be very distressed if I let the world blow up! I'm glad I have the Agency and my friends to help. I hope they're not as scared as I am. |

Brain Dump: Ceelie
So then we came up to the last room on the niffty little map we found, and it had the super-extra-big skull in it, and I was a little afraid. That Lost in Space movie was scary, and now I have to see them skittering around with guns and shooting at us! I'm glad D and E and everyone are all here to help.
The war machines were coming after us first, so we started out dealing with those. This time, there weren't any pits for us to push them into, so Li took the direct approach. Silly Irode opening up his big eye with D around. He should've known better.
Once Irode was "deactivated", I found a little door into a treasure room. There was a treasure chest with -- surprise! -- another fork! It's really neat 'cause it's a little pile of metal balls but when you pick it up it looks like a fork all the sudden, like one of those magnetic demonstrations at a museum, and then D holds it up and it wiggles back and forth and I go flying around hanging on to the middle tine and it's really super cute!
Uhm, there was also a thing that opened up a big door, so everyone else could come in too. The big war machine with the tasty snacky meat was there, and he told us to go up the lift. I think Lily snatched some of her computer stuff from him before we left. I guess she wanted to know how he works. She also took one of those spider things with her, to figure out how that works too. If she turns into a big weird-o spider thing and tries to open up a rift through time, I'm totally cutting her out of the chat room.
But, then all the alarms and stuff were going off, 'cause in all these games, once you beat the boss, the whole castle crumbles. So of course there are warnings and sirens telling us to leave too, and we rode the lift up and ran back to where Terillis and Min were waiting. Terillis had found some information in the temple, looking around the top floor where we came in, but she couldn't really figure out what it meant. Maybe if we sit down some time and figure out whether any of that lines up with our experiences, we can find out if there's some kind of connection. I should remember to ask her about that some time.
Of course, the ruins totally blew up, and house Endris wasn't too happy about it. They called up, and Terillis rolled her eyes. She totally knew what they were going to say.
Terillis herded us all back on to Min and took us back to the TOA port. I said good-bye to Min on our way out too. She was really sweet. D also gave Terillis some contact info in case she ever needed to get in touch with him. I guess that's not too odd either, 'cause he gives his number to women all the time.
After we reported back to Zii, Tara and I got some crazy info back from Mark -- her bookstore friend. He says there's some inklings that there might be a fifth fork! Wild!
