Chris: Are we heading out tomorrow? I think Hawk was going to check if the company had any other "business" for us to bring with.
Hernz: vegeta is all set to head out when the party is ready
George: Yeah, Hawk wants to check in with... who is it we're supposed to report to at EFTC?

Hawk Hubertins: We've managed to get a letter of introduction from Mr. Dewleaf, so we shouldn't have any issues getting there. Is there anything else you or the EFTC would like us to do while there?
Marjorie Mel: You have gained entry to the Krimson Consortium. Dewleaf tried to offer their Krimson Dye. I didn't have the heart to tell him we were already offered many free samples.

Hawk Hubertins nods to Marjorie.
Abraxinal: [Undercommon] Work Master has taught me some of the words of your language. She's also introduced me to her sister to give some of my advice on fashion. I can't wait!

Hawk Hubertins turns back to Marjorie
Hawk Hubertins: I thought that might be the case, but he did offer us the opportunity at a deep discount on dye.

Hawk Hubertins: If there's nothing else, I should get back to the others. We have some final details to go over before we leave.
Marjorie Mel: I believe that's all he's been authorized to do so far...Please continue to represent the East Ferren Trading Company to the best of your ability.

Hawk Hubertins heads back to the office to meet up with the rest of the party.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Alright.
Anywhere in particular for evening dinner?
Cat: somewhere decent without being criminally expensive.
George: Hawk would go along for the nice dinner.
Cat: after the swamp and sewers, with the prospect of another week out, nidri wants at least one good meal.
Fi: I hear Claire knows a few restaurants now ;-)
The Catch of the Day is considered one of the best restaurants in Harvest Wharf. While more expensive than standard pubs, its food is well worth the price.

Vegeta will skip on such places for food... he needs his simpler meals to maintain proper mind and body
Vegeta continues eating his old standby of bread and water.
Claire: Yes. I bring the party to Catch of the Day. Nice.
Meghan: Did Terria suggest anything in particular?

The meal is quite filling. There isn't as much fried salmon as you'd expect, but it is quite tasty.

Still partly cloudy. Some roads in Harvest Wharf are closed for demolition or repairs after the bombing.
The horses supplied by the East Ferren Trading Company are the same ones the party took to Terria Swamp.
Vegeta: these horses again... hope he has a better temper this time around

The sky is overcast. The wind is picking up. Rain is almost inevitable.
The party continues their travels past the Terras Hills. The party didn't really notice before, but the ground has a reddish tint - the dirt seems to be a but more colorful than before.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Anyone doing anything during the day? I'll skip to the night.
Cat: just yapping on the road.
nothing big.
Hernz: if it does start to rain, people notice vegeta's hair still is pointing up, unnaffected lol... that's it
After a second day of peaceful travel, the party prepares camp for the night.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): (Secretly rolling for watches)
Despite the rain, the second night is also uneventful.

April 12, 1236 AD

The rain is light, but constant.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Another day of travel, go!
As the party travels, they see a group of creatures running along the road.
It becomes clear that there is some kind of commotion going on.

Nidranisan: They do look distressed. Is there a way we can slow the gnolls down?
(GM) Chad S. (GM): The Gnolls have already knocked the Elven Wagon over - it looks like they are herding the elves. If you hurry you might be able to intercept them.
Cat: aaah was about to ask if there was a chase in progress and we had a new high-speed-horse-chase mechanic ;)
'cause i'm pretty sure only fi would survive that one.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): No horse chasing for now...
Nidranisan will try to get into range that a bane will hit the gnolls.
Vegeta: looks like that's a yes...

The Orc quickly bashes the Gnoll across the ground. Flustered, the Orc switches to Elven.

Another Gnoll pulls out a spear and lunges against Norvi, who quickly deflects it against his shield.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): One Gnoll grasps an object in his hand, points at the trees and laughs. The weeds in the area spring up and quickly entwine the panicking elves.
It then barks more orders and starts heading after the Orc.
Claire: which one did that?
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Armored Gnoll C
Dagger Gnoll F drops his net, pulls out a dagger and advances.
Dagger Gnoll E pulls out his dagger and gets into melee with Norvi.
Dagger Gnoll B pulls out his dagger and sets up flanking with Armored Gnoll A.
Armored Gnoll A power attacks the Orc hitting AC 17 for 9 damage
One Gnoll impales the Orc, but the Orc seems to laugh at them in response.
Fi: Anyone know who the Halgresh are?
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Dagger Gnoll G drops his net and grabs a dagger.

The orc assists the elves and recovers the wagon. Luckily it has minimal damage. With the horses the Orc was able to recover, the elves are all set to leave.

Fi: I wish that I could tell you what happened, but all we know is that he was murdered in his office.
Halgresh: I knew elves were strong in head. I bring him to father. The elf ran away. Ran back to red forest.
Merchants from other town, Harvest Wharf town, said they would help his head be very strong. Strongest head.
Fi: Indeed he was very smart.
Halgresh: He visited me a few months ago, said he was happy and was sorry for my sister. But he made me so happy.

The stew was rich and very hearty. Halgresh is quiet for most of the night as she cleans up and prepares some beds for the night.
While the beds are much more comfortable than the tents, Halgresh's wails can be heard throughout the night.

and I also think that once we disperse the loot (not sure how meghan-chan missed it... bad chris! (see, blame chris)), I say remove it cause it will clutter too much, and even confuse maybe

The party wakes up to more rain. Halgresh has made a cornmeal for breakfast.

Vegeta does his best to explain his diet so as to not offend the already shocked mother
Fi: [orc] He eat like little bird.

Halgresh offers a jug of water and some rice to Vegeta
Vegeta: thank you

Fi nods.
Halgresh: When you are ready, I will guide you back to road.
Vegeta: Ready when you guys are done eating... non sense in delaying and overstaying our welcome
Hawk Hubertins: Thank you for your hospitality. I'm sorry we couldn't have met under happier circumstances.
Halgresh: It is OK. Thank you for telling me about son.
After an hour's trip, Halgresh leads the party back to the road.
Halgresh: Red forest is this way. Go down road for another day. Should be there before sun falls.
Hawk Hubertins: Thank you again.

Hawk Hubertins waves to Halgresh as we ride in the indicated direction.
Halgresh: Me will patrol road until night fall. Thank you.
Halgresh waves back, then readies her greatclub and continues her patrol for threats.
The party continues travel. The earth itself has turned red, with almost all of the trees bearing red leaves. The horses gallop across an endless field of red leaves.
Late afternoon, the sun begins to set, presenting a beautiful purple sky. The party past several signs in elven and they clearly see a clearing with a town full of elves behind it.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): The signs read various messages warning the reader they are entering the Krimson Forest, they must visit for business purposes only, and be on their best behavior.
Nidranisan snickers.
Nidranisan: Best behavior.
Nice.
Cat: assuming someone translate.s
Hawk Hubertins: These people seem particularly concerned with business. Odd, for elves, I'd think.

Hawk Hubertins translates the signs as we go past.
Vegeta: great... can't wait to meet them (end sarcasm)

The party enters the clearing outside the village. Two elven guards, clad in chainshirts and glaives, approach the party.
Vegeta: (sarcastic) hm... from the fact that they are avid business folk, I'm surprised there's no statues of elves trading potions
Guard: Who goes there? What brings you to this edge of the Krimson?

Vegeta will let Fi/Hawk do the talking
Fi: [Elven] We come on East Ferren Trading Company Business.
Guard: [Elven] Well come on in! We're glad to have all of you here!

April 13, 1236 AD (late afternoon)

Appropriately named, the Krimson Forest is filled with red trees, red cloth and vats of red Krimson dye. Most of the houses use red wood, although some of them are pure white.
The elves townspeople are seemingly celebrating, dancing and singing the joys of life. The pause as the party enters the town square, only to begin singing about the new guests.
Several elves surround the party, asking if they need any help and escorting them to the finest living quarters in town.

Fi frowns.
Fi: I hope it's nothing contagious.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): ...T-virus
Chris: T-virus trees maybe?
(GM) Chad S. (GM): You've figured out my cunning plan RUN OVER

Chris laughs.
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Minus 2 million XPs for metagaming
Fi: So. The question is, do we outright ask where Allshai is, or do we try to be more subtle in case that is a taboo?
Dan: Looks like we came here on Life DAy
(GM) Chad S. (GM): Yaaay Life Day. C'mon Itchy let's go!
Hernz: nice... digging the red
Chris: should I envision this place as monochrome, and thus we stick out like crazy with our weird non red colors?

(GM) Chad S. (GM): The primary colors of this town seem to be red, white and gray. The townsfolk wear a variety of colors, but they all have some red tint.
Chris: so, almost. Kinda bichromatic.
Vegeta: well, if we don't outright ask for Alishai, then what's the plan? what's the worst than can happen? these are a bunch of wimpy trader elves anyway, hmph
Fi: I think the worst that can happen is we spark a conflict between the elves and Harvest Warf which ends up escalating into a war which involves each side digging long forgotten relics that cause mutual annihilation.
I don't think that is likely or what we need to worry about now, but that is the worst case.
More realistically it could lead to us not finishing our mission.
Personally I'm fine with just asking, but I thought that there are some in our party who might prefer a less direct approach.
Vegeta: ....well... when you put it that way....

Hawk Hubertins finishes up his song.
Hawk Hubertins: Let's talk to Laresella first.
Nidranisan: looking for Laresella gives us a bit of a cover while we check the place out.
Fi: Ok. What shall we discuss? Obviously we aren't interested in dye.
Nidranisan: i wonder if they export anything else.
Fi: "If you want to do business with EFTC, then you need to look towards more exotic goods."
Nidranisan: the soil/clay for bricks, flowers, seeds.

Fi: Ultimately, I don't know if Jovias was pushing anything other than dye.
Hawk Hubertins: Let's start with smalltalk and see if Laresella has anything to offer. We don't need to jump into making suggestions.

Nidranisan: looks like there's actually some cool stuff around here.

I remember there being some question about the Elves in the krimson plants before being funny...
(GM) Chad S. (GM): The plants have a spicier taste compared to those near Harvest Wharf. Nidri and Claire do note a very faint trace of magic in the air...

Meghan takes a deep breath. Good, there's magic on this planet.

The Krimson Konsortium office seems...emptier than it should be. Some dust and cobwebs are in the office. The banners and signs are off balance and dirty.
Fi: Where I'm from Elves tend to not have quite the disparity in levels of society.
The elves lead you to the head office, where an elderly elven woman is humming to herself. She seems to be focusing on reading something in her hands, but she isn't holding anything.
Laresella: Greetings, guests! How may I help you all? I am Laresella.
Laresella stands up from the desk and bows.
Fi: Greetings, we are from the East Ferren Trading Company. This is Hawk, Claire, Nidranisan, Vegeta, Norvi, and I am Fi.

Fi bows.

Laresella: Hello Hawk. Hello Claire, Nidranisan, Vegeta, Norvi. And hello to you, Fi! We are honored to have you visit us.
Nidranisan is looking around the place, letting Fi/Hawk/Claire do the talking.
Hawk Hubertins: Greetings, Laresella. I must say, I am impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone has been since we arrived.

Hawk Hubertins: They certainly have been. Can you tell us about this fine town? We have only just arrived, and it seems that our information must be outdated.
Laresella: Oh, yes. Of course. The town was founded thousand years ago, as the elves discovered an interesting source of magical power. They laid claim then closed it from outsiders to prevent its corruption.
As the town grew it split into several communities, each with different tolerance levels to outsiders.
Laresella rambles on about the history of the Krimson Forest.
Hawk Hubertins: Pardon me, but when did things change so that strangers are so welcome?
Laresella: Oh? We have recently learned of the power of acceptance, tolerance, and jubilation. When we realized the error of our ways, we opened our hearts and embraced diversity! I've already met you, my new friends!

Hawk Hubertins motions to the party to leave.
Laresella doesn't react to Hawk's apology, but there is no resistance as the party leaves. The elves that were so helpful before are still aiding the party but are now much more observant of the party's actions.
Nidranisan mumbles. "Lovely."
Fi: What I was afraid of...
Hawk Hubertins: You were expecting this?
Nidranisan: Anyone else notice the flicker when she thought too hard?
Hawk Hubertins: Yes.
That was odd.
Nidranisan: I saw something else.

Fi: ?
Nidranisan indicates a building, a white on over there that's 2 stories tall and a little better maintained.
Nidranisan: One of the elves made eye contact with me and then started towards that building. the armored guys ushered him in. it was kinda weird.
I don't know if you guys can figure out a tactful way to ask what's in there.
Hawk Hubertins: We could always just go over and walk in. I've found that if you act like you belong, people will often just let you in.

Fi glares at Hawk.
Hernz: ha! I love that idea!

As the party walks up to the building, they notice fewer and fewer elves following them. Some seem to frown briefly before they head back to the town square.
Nidranisan probably ends up getting swept away by party inertia as the elves thin out.
As the party approaches the building, the two guards stare at the party and then one of them blocks the door.
Guard: G-Greetings, Outsider! What brings you here to this nondescript building?

This man's dance is nowhere as coordinated as the others, and he certainly seems stuck between dancing cheerily and trying to calm down.

Fi is not with the party, btw.

Allshai: I wonder why they would do that. That's not very joyous at all.
Maybe this entire city should strike those fools in Harvest Wharf and teach them the values of joy and tolerance.
Nidranisan: It's just Magmere. We were celebrating the life of our recently departed supervisor, Merki, when they took advantage of the situation to push for their ways.
Allshai begins to laugh. He laughs loudly. He laughs so hard he cries.
You see the moment he breaks free from his enchantment as his tears of laughter turn to tears of remorse.
Allshai: Departed...I see.
The fates play with me. That shocked me. Gave me a chance to clear my mind.
Thank you...I only met him once, you know.

Hawk Hubertins ends his song.

Nidranisan: I'm sorry that's how you had to find out.

Nidranisan shakes her head.
Allshai: When she died, Audren took his daughter and left. He blamed the town for not looking for others for help.

But those were mostly in the Krimson Fields.
Nidranisan: I see. But you have been outside, so the world won't be entirely a shock.

Fi has a perplexed expression on her face.
Allshai: Something wrong, Fi?
Fi: Sorry, I just couldn't imagine wanting to stay in one place that long.
When I was young I couldn't wait to get out.
My parents were always having to come retrieve me.

Allshai: The Krimson Forest is quite large, Fi. There are many more surprises in this entire forest, deeper inside.

Hawk Hubertins: I have to admit, I also find the idea of living in one place for a long stretch to be an odd one.
Nidranisan: I suspect we seem just as odd to the folks who live here.
Allshai: My son helped so many with their ancestry...Makes sense.

Fi nods.
Fi: I suppose it does.
Hawk Hubertins: Anyway, shall we get going? No time like the present, and nothing better than the open road to lift the spirits.
Fi: Unless, anyone else wants in on the group therapy session?
Allshai chuckles
Nidranisan: I thought you guys were going to talk to Larasella.
Hawk Hubertins: Oh, right! Well, Fi, shall we go?
Fi: Yes.
Nidranisan: Just swing back by when you're done.
we'll finish packing everything up.
Hawk Hubertins: We'll be back shortly.

Hawk Hubertins nods.

Hawk Hubertins heads over to Larasella's office.
Nidranisan alternately packs stuff up to go, and hangs out chatting with Allshai.
The Krimson Konsortium has at least been swept since yesterday. There are many employees talking, chatting, and setting up sales. Fi and Hawk are given all the space they need to get to Larasella's office.
This elf is catching up to her missing orders, reading up on the many missing orders and unpaid bills.
Cat: ouch.
Fi: Excuse me. We're sorry to interrupt. Could we just have a moment before we head out?
Laresella: Y-yes, of course. Fi and...Hawk, yes?

Hawk Hubertins nods.
Laresella: I've been doing a lot of catch up. We haven't done anything for about a month, so this caused a lot of trouble.
Fi: Yes. Since we are here already and are representatives of East Ferren Trading Company, I thought it would be appropriate to see if you require anything from outside.
Hawk Hubertins: I can imagine.
Fi: We've already been introduced to your contact in Harvest Warf.

Fi hands the letter from Jovias over.
Laresella: Ah. Yes. Mr. Dewleaf.
Laresella starts writing a letter in Elven
Fi: I'm certain the EFTC will be happy to expedite any required items that you need.
Laresella: We will get more supplies from...further inside the forest. Right now we don't have many funds available. But a goodwill effort from the East Ferren Trading Company will be most welcome - please ask Mr. Dewleaf to petition the company for aid.
Fi: Certainly. I will aid him in doing so. No one was aware of this issue until we arrived.
Laresella: Yes, indeed. We should have called for help.
Hawk Hubertins: I'm glad we could assist you in this, and I'm sure the East Ferren Trading Company will be able to render whatever aid you require.
Laresella: Thank you, very much. I mean that on behalf of the Konsortium, and myself personally.
I've been reading...nothing...for so long.
Fi: Yes, that must have been difficult.
Very well. I believe we will be heading out and handing this to Mr. Dewleaf as soon as we arrive.
Good luck with getting everything together.
Laresella: Thank you for your help, Fi. And Hawk.

Hawk Hubertins gives a polite half bow and turns to leave.

Fi bows and follows.
Hawk Hubertins: So back to Harvest Wharf and Mr. Dewleaf, I suppose.
Fi: Well, Laresella at least may be opening up a bit.

Hawk Hubertins smiles
Hawk Hubertins: I hope so.
Fi: Yes, we shall drop Allshai off with Halgresh on the way.
Hawk Hubertins: Yes, of course. It's on the way, so should be easily accomplished.
Then again, with our little troupe, what should be a simple task sometimes seems to be anything bug.
Fi: Hopefully they will be able to come to understand each other and be able to assist each other.

Hawk Hubertins nods.
Fi: Haha, yes. The question is that due to us or outside factors?
Hawk Hubertins: A bit of both, it seems.
Maybe if we were less curious, we wouldn't find so many... interesting situations.
Fi: Hmm... perhaps that is why we were hired in the first place?
Ok. Everybody ready?
I would suggest skipping the souvenirs here. At least for this visit.
Allshai: Unless you want more Krimson Berries ... Well? Anyone?
I brought my horse me.

Fi: Sure. I could grab some for the road.
Allshai: Always the diplomat, eh?
Allshai hands Fi a bag on deep red berries.
Hawk Hubertins: I'll try some.
I'm not familiar. What kind of fruit are they?
Fi: Who me? Usually I'm told that I'm too blunt.
They turn your tongue red.

Fi sticks out his tongue.
The berries are sweet with a bitter aftertaste.
Hawk Hubertins: These are quire delicious. Thank you.
Allshai: You get used to them, quickly.
Fi: And suddenly you find the dealer is your new best friend ;-)

Hawk Hubertins raises an eyebrow.
Fi: Sorry, bad joke.
Nidranisan snickers.
With that, the party and Allshai take one last look at the Krimson Forest before they hit the road.
The party spends most of the day travelling before they take a detour off the road towards Halgresh's Hut. They reach her home by the evening.

April 14, 1236 (Evening)

Fi: [Orc] Halgresh? Are You home?
Halgresh: [Orc] Hmm? Oh, good elf friend Fi. Hold on, hold on, me get door.
Allshai: ooo...that's her, alright.
Nidranisan: ...By the way, she mostly speaks Orc...
Allshai: I'd recognize her voice anywhere. It hasn't changed.
Fi: [Orc] We come with familiar face.
She speaks common and elven well enough.
Allshai: [Orc] No worries about that. I learned the Orcish tongue during my days on the field.
Halgresh opens the door, and her smile fades away as she looks at Allshai. Allshai has a mix of shame and fear, and is struck silent.
Halgresh: [Orc] Familiar, yes.
Allshai gets on all fours, head hung low
Allshai: [Orc] I...must apologize. For everything that I've done. I didn't know he came to town - they never told me.
Halgresh: [Orc] Shhhh. Don't apologize for Merki. Come, we talk. Inside. Me promise no crushing.
Halgresh helps (more like lifts) Allshai to his feet, then half drags him inside.
Halgresh: [Orc] Ah, er elf friend Fi. Give Halgresh and elf some time, okay?
Nidranisan tries really hard not to giggle.

Fi nods.
Fi: [Orc] Of course.
[Party] They just need a few minutes.
Nidranisan: a few minutes? they probably need a couple months.
The door slams shut as Halgresh drags Allshai inside.
Hawk Hubertins: Well then, I suppose we should leave them to... whatever they need to do.
Fi: I meant of completely alone time...
Nidranisan takes a little stroll around the area for a bit.
Nidranisan: ...She's totally going to go patrol all day and he's going to stay home and run the house and make dinner, isn't he.
Y'know, that's actually really cute. I hope they work things out.
Fi: For a time. They may decide to do something else eventually.
Nidranisan: Well, yeah.
Nidranisan wouldn't mind having a house-husband for a few years though.

Fi smiles.
Nidranisan mutters.
Nidranisan: Turns out most guys who are into wings, horns and a tail aren't the nice kind.
Nidranisan sighs.

Fi frowns.
Fi: I... uh...
Nidranisan: Whoops, sorry.
Forgot that makes most people uncomfortable.
Fi: No sorry, I just don't know what to say.
About 30 minutes later, the door reopens. Halgresh is quite happy and is hugging Allshai. Allshai seems content, but unharmed.

Fi attempts to smile again.
Nidranisan: It's ok, I don't really expect you to have something brilliant to say.
Er, that didn't come out quite rigth.
It's not an issue that has an easy answer. Is what I mean.
Fi: Yeah...
I'm afraid I don't have any experience in that area at all.
I could offer empty encouragement?
Nidranisan: No need. That's why I usually mumble so much.
Vegeta: I think they can work things out themselves... no need for us to meddle in everyone's affairs
Fi: Uhh... I'm only meddling in Nidri's affairs right now.
Hernz: sorry, that was probably a comment to something you guys said long time ago lol
Chris: oh. ok.

Nidranisan and Fi are pretty much just getting back to the hut 30 minutes later when Halgresh ad Allshai come back out.
Halgresh: [Orc]Elf friend Fi. All friends. Spend evening in Halgresh's hut. Halgresh make good stew!
Nidranisan smiles.
Nidranisan: Well, Halgresh certainly seems happy.
Fi: [Orc] Thank You.
She is inviting us to dinner again.
Nidranisan: That's kind.
Halgresh: [Orc] Come in, come in. Sun going away soon.
Halgresh and Allshai lead you into her home, where she started boiling water to make stew.
Halgresh moves around and pulls out some of her special herbs. Allshai sits on the chair, having trouble sitting on the chair.
Nidranisan: Just so you know, I'm sure you'll be welcome to visit or send word to Harvest Wharf if you want to or need to.
Fi: Will you be staying here for a while?
Allshai: Yes. Halgresh is a strong woman. But she's been here on her own for a while. I know that feeling.
We still need to talk things out of course, but we will certainly visit Merki's hometown when we get the chance.

Fi nods.
Nidranisan: You should be able to contact us directly or through the East Ferren Trading Company.
Allshai: Thank you.
Halgresh serves several bowls of meat stew to Allshai and her guests, giggling all the way.
Halgresh also serves some rice and water to the skinny bird Vegeta
Halgresh: [Orc] This is Fire Breath Soup - uses Redtooth Clan special spices. Fill you with energy, haha!
Halgresh chugs the soup down almost immediately.
Fi: [Orc] Sounds great.
[Pary] It's Fire Breath Soup. It might live up to its name.

Fi tries the soup.

Allshai slowly sips a single spoonful of the soup, then sips some more. His eyes water as he coughs violently.
Allshai: Oh, yes, the [Orc]Fire Breath Soup! [Common] I forgot how - cough cough cough spicy these cough are.

Fi starts tearing up and coughing as well.
Fi: [Elven] Holy F*
Nidranisan: Nidranisan's CON Check: 14
Nidranisan managed not to totally die eating the stew.
Fi: Yes. Crazy. cough That sums it up.
Sure you don't want any? Might be good for training.
Allshai: Haha! cough Elves aren't good with this stew. Don't the Redtooth Clan use this in drinking contests? cough cough cough
Halgresh: Yes, yes. Orcs best with [Orc]Fire Breath Soup! [Common] Goblins really bad with it but they love it. Think they can breathe fire like dragon if they drink enough!
Halgresh turns to Vegeta
Fi: I think I already did.
Halgresh: You no want [Orc]Fire Breath Soup? [Common] Warrior like you should have no problem!
Vegeta: good for training... that crap disrupts the flow of ki within the body... you have no idea what you're talking about

Vegeta politely declines
Chris: lol "politely" and "crap"
Hernz: LOL
Fi: [Orc] His people think food evil on inside. Only eat what needed to survive.
[Orc] I mean. Like tease him.
Cat: nice.
Hernz: lol
Halgresh: [Orc] They miss out on good food!
(GM) Chad S. (GM): (Waiting to see how Claire, Hawk and Norvi react to the soup.)

Hawk Hubertins sips the soup politely, turns bright red, and smiles even as his eyes tear up.

Norvi sips it once, then tosses the spoon aside, raises the bowl to his lips and drinks it straight up.

Halgresh sets up the beds while Allshai cleans up.
Allshai: I guess that's it for the evening.
Unless anyone has any questions, I think we should retire for the night.
Fi: Yeah. Sounds good.
The party goes to bed, to a much more comfortable rest than the last time they slept here. Although it's not quiet - there is a lot of talking between Halgresh and Allshai.

April 15, 1236 AD (morning)

The rain has finally stopped, and the cloud cover has reduced slightly.
Halgresh is up nice and early, preparing a meal for the party's breakfast. Allshai is still meditating deeply within his room.

Fi walks in yawning.
Fi: [Orc] Good sun up.
Halgresh: [Orc] Ya, it up. Very bright to Orcs though...Orcs like to attack during night time.
Fi: [Orc] Yes. Glad rain done now.
[Orc] Maybe have moon tonight.
Halgresh: [Orc] Hmm? Maybe moon appear?
Allshai: [Orc] The moon is usually in the sky, but sometimes we can't see it from here.
Allshai calls out from his room, slightly exhausted.
Chris: I'm sitting around talking about the weather in game...
Fi talks about the weather. Allshai mentions how the moon affects weather, and phases of the moon.
Halgresh shakes her head whenever Allshai talks, but she does pay attention to Fi.
Halgresh: Okay. If you are all ready, let's go on road.

Hawk Hubertins stretches and yawns as he wanders out of his room.

Hawk Hubertins attacks breakfast with gusto.

Vegeta is up early, and can be found practicing outsise

Fi loads up the horses to go.
Fi: All set?
Hawk Hubertins: Halgresh, again, thank you for your hospitality. I hope we meet again.
Nidranisan nods in agreement with Hawk.
Nidranisan: Both of you, in fact.
Nidranisan indicates Allshai.
Nidranisan: Despite all the circumstances you have both been kind and generous.
George: Took Abundant Ammunition for Hawk's new level 1 spell (A few combats later).
So no more needing to buy arrows for us.
Allshai: It's the least I can do, honestly...
Halgresh leads the party back to the road.
Halgresh: Thank you all. We will make sure this road is open to all. Maybe we visit some day.
