Purpose

The demo's purpose:

  • Teach the basics of gameplay.
  • Show Cerb's personality and attitude.

Scenes

Scene 1

Goals

Cerb Wakes up, gets dressed.

Teach how to click to attack.

Specifics

He attacks the dresser and coat hanger.

You can't move in this scene: its mission is to point out how to attack.

Scene 2

Goals

Teach the player how to move around.

Now, Cerb has to make breakfast.

Specifics

Have him jump around and catch the food.

He doesn't have to attack to get through this part, although it may make things more exciting.

Make the area an obstacle course, or maybe just shoot stuff into the air.

Scene 3

Goals

Almost ready for normal gameplay!

Teaches about stun and switching targets.

Cerb says hi to his minor relatives with some sparring.

Specifics

First enemies ever, make sure they are lively. Unless Cerb stuns them.

No parries, that's the next fight.

Scene 4

Goals

Miniboss! Time to learn how to parry.

Cerb's dad gives him some tips before his big battle.

Specifics

Dad should say "Parry" during his song, right before Cerb should parry.
