Kim, what were you saying about the perfect mixed-meat for our experimentation? And a good veggie option? -Zahnnie 13:22, 22 January 2010 (EST)

Hey, sorry for the late response - I know you guys already had your AZN feast, but for future reference, the perfect blend is 1lb ground pork and 1lb 80% lean ground beef. Slap 'em together, mix well, double-up on the rest of the ingredients and make a double-batch. Also substitute vegetable oil with sesame oil. Dee-licious! --Ubernerd 18:16, 26 January 2010 (EST)

I did a half-ground-pork, half-ground-chicken delight! -Zahnnie 18:19, 26 January 2010 (EST)

A good veggie option is a blend of finely chopped blanched Napa cabbage, a variety of meaty mushrooms (try shiitake, straw mushrooms, and oyster mushrooms), tossed with cornstarch and veggie broth to hold it all together. Season with soy, sesame, garlic, etc. If you're feeding a pescatarian (vegetarian that eats seafood), add some diced shrimp.

Another option is to get extra firm tofu with texture, cut it up into the texture of ground beef, saute it with green onions, soy, garlic, and "House of Tsang Spicy Stir-Fry" sauce. --Ubernerd 18:21, 26 January 2010 (EST)
